Consider a sub-footer if you have too much to show

It’s very possible there’s a lot you want to add to your footer, that you can’t all fit in. Navigation links, contact information, a lead generation form, legal notices, it’s a lot. 

It’s possible to split up your footer into two parts; basically giving your footer a footer. This is something that’s more popular than you think and is very possible to do. Don’t overdo it; it shouldn’t take up the whole screen, but it can allow you to more clearly show off everything you want to display.
