Highlight the page your visitor is currently on

If your site is on the larger site or it has similar pages, it’s possible your visitors may have some trouble remembering where exactly they are. For that reason, it could be useful to highlight the page the user is on, on the navigation bar.

You can do this in pretty subtle ways. Simply make the page you’re on a lighter shade of grey, or make the text bold. Think of it as the “You are here!” marker on maps. It’s subtle, but it’d be a lot harder to get around without it.
