Tell as much about the writer of the testimonial as possible

If you have testimonials on your site, you obviously need the name of the person who wrote it there too. But the more information you add, the more real your testimonial seems.

A testimonial from “Lisa Wiseau, CEO at DummyCo.” or “Bob Roberts, 30 year old single father” is much stronger than a testimonial from “Lisa” or “Bob”.

Not only do they add further verification and status to the name, but they also allow the reader to identify with the person better. ‘Oh wow, I’m a single dad too!’
